Cut a long story short, I lost a fight with a new stanley blade, been to hosp and had 7 stiches. I can move my thumb abit and feel someone touching the top, even though its pins and needles, but this last 2 hours been having weird spasms and if I strech it, its like and elastic band twanging..

Anyway, pic.

Youve gotta let the swelling die down and the anesthetic 100% wear off. Sleep on it (not literally obv) and see how it feels in the morning.

Did very similar to one of my fingers just over a week ago so feel your pain.

Yeah I also know that pain, 13 stitches in my face, injected anesthetic and it just pissed out the cut and down the side of my face.

This time they gave me paper stitches cos they couldn't be bothered to look for the list of anesthetics I cant have. Id done a pretty good job of stemming the bleeding myself as I'm ELS trained (keeping people alive long enough to drag them to hospital or get an ambulance). They said if it splits open again just come back and well stitch it properly. I'm not gonna complain cos i was in and out of A&E in under an hour.
