Time to replace the 6, warning Vauxhall content.
#1
Just been out and bough this beast of a car to replace the 6 with Wink
Taxed till June, mot July sometime. Not driven it yet, but I'm sure it's quick as being a 1.4!

Can't wait to move to Norfolk to join the Vauxhall crew.

But yea more to the point, I think this does need to be kept for a daily as long as its not too expensive to insure and run. And it's deffo time to go a tad mental with the 6.

Why no 1.9DT on a bosche to run veg for a daily?
Surely can't be more to insure than that
And 90ppl fuel & 50 mpg is gooood

It is shit, but it'll do just fine. Also cost about a 5th of what a dt would Wink

Enjoy fixing it....my mate has one lol.

Although for a 1.4 they're reasonably brisk, easily quicker than a 1.4 306, probably quicker than a standard dt as well tbh lol. Granted not as tuneable or veg'able though. Tongue

The 1.4 drags soooo much, the 1.6 was a slight improvement, only petrol Astra i'd go for is the 1.8 (if you have the money to fuel it) or 1.9 cdti but then again, i'd stay with a cheap n cheerful derv 306 if you could get your hands on one. But that's just me Smile
