Gonna be boring and say not at my house or at the campsite. I'll happily take it to the tip for you though.

Love it... Like a well laid plan!!

Right, still waiting on a few bits for the smoke stack, so I set off on another mission.

Have you ever wondered how to fit vents from a boat's bilge pump to the bonnet of a 306? You have?! Ahh good, then I shall tell you how in a few simple steps.

1. Buy your own angle grinder because you've been borrowing them for years and it's getting a bit annoying not having on-demand grinding

2. Find a suitably sized vent or two, the bigger the better

3. Cut a couple of big holes in your bonnet, a bit like this:

4. Place the first vent in its hole, then find something to secure it. Rivets will probably do.

5. Do the other side, step back, and LOL at your boat car

Now you're probably thinking.. what would a responsible member of the community do with those big bits of metal that have been removed from the bonnet?

Simple. Fix stuff that didn't need fixed. Go get the rivet gun again...

Fixed!

Linzi's mum and dad also had an old Seicento exhaust in the shed that needed the same environmentally friendly treatment, so more stuff was fixed that didnt need fixing.

Done. So now i've recycled.. an old wheel, a fence, an old exhaust, carbon fibre, erm, an old rusty spot lamp bar... The government should be thanking me.

I've also decided when i DO eventually get stopped by the Police (somehow hasn't happened yet?) I shall start a tally chart somewhere with a big knife. Make a big rusty police counter lmao

So how was your day?

....and there's my answer on how to fit them, it's been troubling me for a while.

Looks good as ever!

Lol, my favourite feature at the minute is the fact that the exhaust isn't connected, so when you plant it reek comes out the bonnet vents <3
[Image: signature_zps1a02ba79.jpg]
Thanks given by:
haha amazing. You should fit exhausts under the bonnet to direct the smoke to the vents. Rather dangerous when you cant see where your going but would look epic.

I do need to keep it semi legal though. I'm a bit concerned about driving to Jonny's this weekend as VOSA like to hang about at the border lmao
