So so mad succesfully manged to go my gov mod but lost my fecking cold start spring! feck knows how! it was attached to the the top of the pump and now vanishd and im stuck as to what to do next! any one got a spare...... lol
Any advice where to find an alternative?

I had a spare and sold it to stu_dturbo because he lost his Best bet is to find somebody who has a scrap pump and get one off them..... Unlucky mate.

so far iv had 500w lamp out and huge magnet no luck! FFS iv got bits of my pump all over place even in the post now lmao

haha no that was completely seperate i hadnt even cracked it open! Does it have to be the same one as the places it attaches to in the top half has no movement. and the spring appears to just keep tension?

You dont need this spring, its the first thing that gets removed from mine - allows your max fuelling to be upped more before it starts running away... just watch your idle when your alternator is pulling charge....

To be fair though, if your not running big power, removing this spring does totally screw up the oem feel to your car, the pumps load control gets destroyed, and ull find yourself stalling it / getting stuck in 500rpm idle surges all the time....The stock lever balance is calibrated with this spring in, hence when you remove it, it goes decock.

If your trying to make big power on stock levers, you end up having to remove it to keep your idle under control, the better way to fix it it replace the levers for ones that travel further and dont need the spring

well i v sorted it well hopefully i have i bought a box of assorted small springs and compared it to pics and put one in that was simular looking and pumps all back together now just waiting to go on now
