surely it would just be hydraulic fluid?
used this when refilling the reservoir on the metro cabby project. local motor factors had it and just happened to be the psa and mercedes recommended fluid http://www.piaggiospares.co.uk/spares/pa...tAodtVEAnw

Any old hydraulic fluid should do. How much do you need? I'm working with some lift engineers Friday so I'll see if they can stick some in a bottle for me.
