what colours are the wires coming out the mirror? iv just fitted one
03-02-2012, 11:53 PM
Mines wiered up to the map light, going to do the reverse wire too at some pint.
03-02-2012, 11:55 PM
Black is 0V, white is Switched 12V, and the grey is to the reverse lights

Ah auto mirror, nice! I was actually considering retrofitting one for my car only this week as well lol...then I thought I'd just buy a car with better spec to start with.
04-02-2012, 08:43 AM
IIRC the 406 ones and 307 ones are much easier to fit as the mount on the standard windscreen mount
04-02-2012, 08:51 AM
ive yet to look at how to get the 306 mirror off
is it a case off slideing the mount up off the fixing block?
04-02-2012, 08:55 AM
cully Wrote:ive yet to look at how to get the 306 mirror off Yeah, just firmly smack the mounting arm from underneath with one hand while supporting the mirror with the other hand so it doesn't fly across the car/smack you in the face But yes it just slides over the top of the block
04-02-2012, 08:55 AM
cully Wrote:ive yet to look at how to get the 306 mirror off Yeah the whole thing just slides..........but the glue on the block isnt all that good and often pulls off with the mirror! In my heavy handed experience anyway!

Toms306 Wrote:cully Wrote:ive yet to look at how to get the 306 mirror off Thats just you tom, never had a problem, if you just hit it then the mirror pops off nicely if you rive it around you will probably pull the block off the window |
