Anyone had problems with parcel monkey before?

I booked a courier for yesterday with parcel monkey. Was dx couriers, and they haven't collected it. I try to track it and they have no information about my parcel? I have an invoice etc. 
just annoys me that it wasn't collected. They said it would be collected next day and that's why I used them. Also cannot contact them as they are closed till Monday!

Message Parcel Monkey. Had the same through them, can't remember which courier, and the guy was there the next day.

DX generally are shit as well. I tend to use My Hermes now and drop it off at one of their drop off points. Plenty about, can normally find one on your way home and there are a lot in the likes of corner shops, off licenses etc so open all hours....

They only go up to 15kg though. I normally use my Hermes

I use interparcel and use the ups or parcelforce options.

Iv used parcel monkey a fair bit, next day collection is never actually next day collection, normally the following day

TBH after sending a few things out recently via ebay, i still cant really fault royal mail/parcel force 48.. quite reasonable, large parcel has a 30kg weight limit and quite generous proportions for box/package size and is usually around £7 tracked and with mediocre insurance,.. its about £1 more for an extra £300 of insurance.

I send all my axles with dx absolutely no issues with them aways do as instructed.

Really? That's annoying for me that you haven't had problems stef! Must just be me! Going to wait till Monday and see if they pick up. Will be firing messages away first thing Monday morning to check up on them!
Going to be charged £5 a day for storage till they are picked up after Monday

Never had issues with parcel monkey/hermes. I use them weekly

Only annoyance with UPS is there drop off point locally was bloody shut!!

What time did you book it? It does give a cut off time to get in bookings for next day collection.

It was about 3ish, but I had emails on Friday telling me that I should prepare my parcel for collection on Friday between 8am and 6pm

I'm a MyHermes fan personally. If I place an order before midnight it has ALWAYS been collected the following day.

Also had a package go missing which they happily refunded me (albeit the refund process took 2 weeks).

Well it got to Tuesday with no sign, no messages of apology for being late, couldn't contact the delivery driver so went full crazy on them. I now have a refund coming my way.

Although had to fork out £90 instead for a local courier to sort it
