Hi there
First 306 DTurbo I've owned but I'm no stranger to the French scene.
Wont bore you with previous cars so lets get stuck in!!
Bought this a few weeks back as a 'Stop Gap' car..
Few pounds lighter and shes home.
Please note the main selling point of the car, an awesome Reg number.
All jokes aside I've managed to bag myself a pretty tidy standard example!
1996 'N' Reg 1.9 Phase 1
Sigma Blue
3 Door
93,000 Genuine miles on the clock
Full service history
All previous MOT's
It's even got the standard radio with code & steering controls!
All electrics seem to work, including the electric sunroof and windows.
Only bad point is a Lucas fuel pump...
Nothing I cant sort anyways!
Will enjoy updating this over the coming weeks,
Wont be staying standard for long..
Plenty of parcels mounting up in my room!

First things first sorted out my gammy key fob
Before:
After:
Much better.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Changed the wiper blades to Aero's & washer jets to Citroen Xsara's.
Perfect combination.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Binned the rear wiper & inserted a screw type bung.
Makes the rear look alot less cluttered, simple but it's the small details that count.
Cheers

Did the midbox to backbox exhaust conversion..
Then added a 2.5" tip.
Looks okay and even managed to use the standard hanger.
Also a sneak peak at my new wheels,
Still need to work on the 106 Rallye centre caps and finish off refurbishing the others.

Few more bits and bobs done today.
Wind deflectors fitted,
Really feeling these, never fitted a set to any of my cars before.
Got my dremel out and shortened my gear stick,
Feels a lot better to drive with.
Will prob change the knob in the future, fancy an alloy Peugeot one to keep it looking OEM.
Accelerator cable was on its last legs and about to snap so changed that,
Feels much better as the other one had stretched.
Changed the centre console around with my other 306 thats about to head to the scrappy.
This:
To this:
Had to rewire the 12v Cigarette lighter socket as I've got a 3 way adapter to go in the bottom pocket, more pics on that soon though.
106 Rallye Centre caps are all done now,
Took way to long to do but will finish off my wheels no end.

Had a few hours spare at work this lunch so gave it a quick detail & degreased my engine bay aswell
Awesome blue sky through the electric sunroof!
Hate the way it looks right now, riding high and frisbees for wheels.
Going to invest in a decent machine polisher as Sigma Blue shows up swirls mark like no tomorrow!

Haha it's guna take me at least 2 days of deep machine polishing to get the finish I want!
Hate swirl marks with a passion.
The overall paint if the car is pretty decent tbh!

Impulse update,
Used the white scratch repair kit that I did my centre caps with on my standard gear knob.
Not perfect but will match my wheels once they are on!
Bit of a rubbish pic as the suns finally come out to play!! Haha
