yeh on anything which isnt a gti it shows oil level on the ignition.
On a gti6 it shows oil level and then remains on while the car is running to show oil temp?

Cheap ol gti
My s16 has the same gauge but it reads Oil level on startup, then oil pressure and has a series of lights from green amber and red to show temp

I have this gauge too, but it now only 'flicks' briefly when turning on the ignition whereas it used to work as advertised no probs. There is plenty of of the right sort of oil in the engine of course.
Have taken the dash out and all connections etc appear to be in place and passed the 'wiggle' test. Obviously I'm not too lazy to check the engine oil directly but would like everything on the car to actually work ...... funny old thing! Any pointers anyone?
