So....

What a weekend. Working on the car non stop saturday and sunday. Good though as got all stuff done for the MOT and some.

Got the refurbished and lowered rear beam on. Was a right ballache as the piece of shit, bollox designed fucktard of a PH2 rear beam had the load compensator on. So had to swap all the brake lines over onto the new beam with the compensator. Chewed up a fair bit of time, but done now Smile

Got the '6 Brakes fitted, just need a tad more bedding in now, and fixed the blow in the worst

Next on the list is the decat exhaust, fit my plasma dials, finish stripping the front (remove front carpets, cut dash down etc), fit aero catches and then see what money is left next month

Excuse this crappy last pic, was late and raining

Sits a lot better now me thinks

Really need to get some sill trims on there as well. You dont realise how much of a difference it makes until you see one without them!

Late ph2s were called ph2.5s because of some of the things they came out the facotry with. E.g boot has a sealess window and doesnt have that strip along the bottom. There is some other stuff but i cant remember what lol

Right I get you now. Is that why the dturbo S came with phase 2 front bumpers and phase 3 front bumpers. One more question do you know if the d turbo s was only made in 98 on a s plate because all the ones I've seen and gone to view are a s plate or is this a coincidence

They also done a DTurbo s in ph1. Usually an n reg
Came in either sigma or some weird green

Not sure on what you mean about the ph2/3 bumpers as you said front lol

The trims look quite good IMO, mocked them up today, they need a little trimming but will fit pretty well in the end I think.
This is what they look like fitted:

Cheers Phil Smile its wrapped in vinyl. BMW frozen grey. I think the grey will go nicely with that black bucket seat you want to sell me Wink haha

More progress today:

Wrapping the doors. Split it under the bump strip to make life easer
[Image: IMG_2161_zps1a8c5a82.jpg]

How its looking at the end of today
[Image: IMG_2165_zps6fcd9ef6.jpg]

Got some ph3 sills to go on. Fitted the black side repeater that looks a gazillion times better than the orange ph2 crud.

Hopefully going to do the passenger door and wing tomorrow, and roof if all goes well Smile
