I don't know if Phillipm on the '6 forum (Rippthrough on here) is still making his, but IIRC they're about £80 a pair? Can be had cheaper 2nd hand, so keep an eye out for them, as they are better than standard ones!!

i bought a set of thick solid adjustable from a lad on here. exactly the same as the ones mentioned above just without the rose joints. £42 on EBAY. search universal adjustable drop links.

these will stop any flex in the link therefor making the ARB more responsive. so yeah a good upgrade at a decent price

like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ADJUSTABLE-DRO...5aeea49598

Thought there was a discussion a little while ago saying solid drop links can transfer the stress to other parts of the car?

of course it does but so do coilovers, lower profile tyres , solid top mounts, etc. but not enough to couse any serious damagebto anything.

its pretty much the same story with any mod . you just gota weigh up what you want

handling or slightly longer life span on disposible parts

you would see epic issues with glass stress marks on your windscreen etc
into need a full weld in cage territory

its why I think rosejointed stuff is ideal for track but not a daily drive

My entire suspension system is all metal/metal rose joints and bearings, there's no rubber in it any more, and it rides a lot better than most people's standard cars slapped on cheap coilovers.
Custom roll cages/shiny suspension bits/general fabrication work undertaken, PM me.
Top engine mount repair/reinforcement/chocking for cracked chassis and high powered cars, drive in, drive out, 2 hour turnaround.

when you say its all rose jointed, have you replaced the lower ball joint with rose joints?
