Hi im going to buy some real nice crisp white side lights for the car.
Is there a way to make them come on when I unlock the car? Would be a nice mod.
Im guessing wireing them up to the interior lights or something?
Thanks, Tom

Im not sure whether it would work because the bsi is very sensitive from what i've heard and if your hooking it up to a switch it might not go well.
Doesnt even own a 306.

Expect niall to be along soon with an explanation about the bsi but could you use a feed from the interior light to switch a relay so there's no strain on the bsi?

dont expect Niall as hes gone to Mexico to collect his contraband before bringing it back to this country
im guessing you would have to switch them with a relay as the extra current might kill the BSI
so use the bsi to power a relay, which in turn switch's the side lights on
or use the unlock signal from the door motor id suggest relaying this too as the door locks are powered from the BSI too
