raspbmc RC5 is out you now have overclocking settings in the xmbc ui
time to buy some heatsinks and have a play
oh dont over volt the processor as it sets a registry in the chip and voids your warranty

Nope, you can now overclock and overvolt without it voiding your warranty

wrong!
copyed from the raspbmc FAQ
Fast is the recommended setting and will not cause corruption!
You can choose Advanced Settings if you wish to specify a custom clock — beware that you may void your warranty if you overvolt.
By default, only your CPU is overclocked to 800Mhz, you must specify Fast manually if you wish to do so.

Aww f*ck it I might as well say cos i actually dont care if this idea gets copied cos ill probably be grateful of the help.
Why not use it as an ECU?
Its got good enough processing power (i think) and a 26 wire output. Well a micro/megasquirt ECU only uses a 35/37 wires and alot of them are unused and some are just power wires to the ECU itself which the RPi already has so theres probably enough wires to read sensors and control injectors and ignition.
Ive even got the megasquirt software here.
