coolant smell!!

getting a heavy coolant smell when the blowers are on hot

whats the issue?

Check if either of your foot wells are damp, If so heater matrix

no they arnt, matrix was my first thought! but doesnt seem to be... thankfully!

Sure it's coolant?

If yes could be a small leak in the rad or the cap is loose and spitting it in the bay?
Or if no could just be the hot engine?

pritty sure its coolant, doubt the rad is leaking as its brand spanking! not sure if the cap is letting water out...

i dont get any smell when the blowers are on cold, just when on hot?

if it was a hot engine smell why would it be coming through the matrix? surely all cars would get a smell in that case :/

Ive got a brand new matrix sat here doing nothing not as bad to do as people think. As kwik says better sooner than later!
