Peugeot do a 1.4 diesel but wasn't in the 306 as standard.

update
right been backed and checked and its a 1.9 [1905] turbo!! on a t plate [phase1 or2?] needs a exhaust from middle to back,and a battery,done approx 120000 miles so now i know what it is! will go and do some searching reading. sorry about the confusion but he told me it was a 1.4 think hes a bloke that just buts fuel in and drives.

Oh and it'll be on a Lucas pump so start looking for a Bosch. Nowt wrong with a Lucas and not trying to put you off buying it if you haven't already but the Bosch is more tuneable and you can then run on veg oil - eau de chip: the perfume of choice for the driver on a budget.
