Nope.. you'll get a petrol 1.4. Definitely not a diesel though!

hi - Frosty - 29-07-2012

Peugeot do a 1.4 diesel but wasn't in the 306 as standard.

RE: hi - omega - 31-07-2012

update
right been backed and checked and its a 1.9 [1905] turbo!! on a t plate [phase1 or2?]
needs a exhaust from middle to back,and a battery,done approx 120000 miles
so now i know what it is! will go and do some searching reading.
sorry about the confusion but he told me it was a 1.4 think hes a bloke that just buts fuel in and drives.

RE: hi - puglove - 31-07-2012

RE: hi - Ben Jay - 31-07-2012

it could be a parts bin special?

RE: hi - c.gerrard - 31-07-2012

Welcome along!!

Save your moneys when replacing the exhaust, pop to the scrappers and get some pipe, all them boxes aren't needed Big Grin

Hope he's been putting in the right fuel then haha

hi - ash240970 - 31-07-2012

Oh and it'll be on a Lucas pump so start looking for a Bosch. Nowt wrong with a Lucas and not trying to put you off buying it if you haven't already but the Bosch is more tuneable and you can then run on veg oil - eau de chip: the perfume of choice for the driver on a budget.
