Might just tear it out then :/
In better news, after having my new drop links on for a really long week, the nearside one is already shot and I'm greeted with the lovely knocking noise again. LUV PEUGEOTS

They were from 4way.. no worries I'll just get more they are like a tenner - it gave me a week of silence.. that's worth ten pounds!
I've heard the plastic ones are actually better than the metal ones though, so might invest in those instead

So, a small update..
Car is now running decat / egr / 19psi steady on Lucas. Absolutely fantastic to drive, especially after all the new suspension related shinies.
Now down to the not so pleasant part..
A couple of weeks ago I found a big hole of rust on the underside of the car near the drivers front wheel.. I took it to a couple of garages and received quotes between 140-260.
I also took it to the garage I usually use for MOTs and he said he wouldn't be happy with it there but could turn a blind eye if I cover it up.
My main concern is that the hole will just get bigger especially over winter, and I'll be in the same position again.
Tax runs out on the 31st July and MOT on the 16th so I need to make a decision soon.
My options so far are:
- weld up the hole and treat the rust around it, pray it's ok
- temp cover the hole and hammerite for a nice cover up then panic again next year
- don't do anything and hope it passes, perhaps with a different garage
- buy a new one and swap my parts to it and scrap/break mine

You paid a £10 for second hand ones? You can get new ones for that, they may be crap but my crap ones lasted 15,000 miles

So after much consideration I will be breaking the car next weekend at Fozzy's house. It is with much regret that I am to do so but with increasing problems, and the MOT and tax being due this month I have deemed it necessary to break it as it just won't be viable and I don't want to forever worry about the rusting subframe and boot.
I'll miss it very much!
However while I am over there I will be obtaining a new toy to make it my 3rd 306 of 2012

I hope you're saving those black masks, they'll look win!!
Also Ed's car now seems home to plants. Makes a change from mice! (might actually report this post so he sees it)
