Well... busy day today... yesterday Marvin came along and we made the car ready for transport to VVT today.

Did some testing, and the reverse still is not right, maybe this gets better when the car is mapped properly cause its running like a pig now.
But ive got a strange feeling this wont be easy to fix, maybe well have to drop the box and have a look after the car is mapped.
Marv doing some testing.

Car loaded on the ambulance.... looking pretty nice

Although its only a 10km highwaydrive to VVT Motorsport, it already turned a lot of head of passing cars Wink

Up in the air, Dakar style...

Since i got the exhaust from the ZX Turbo, which i thought and looked like it was a straightfit on the 6... uhmm it didnt, so we had to do some minor adjustements.

Fitted!.. only problem we had was the 100mm titanium piece couldnt be welded to the exhaust.... strange stuff that titanium Wink
So the endpiece is now a 3" just like the rest of the exhaust/downpipe and it looks oke.

Next up was rearbeamlowering, and it was a bitch!
Torsionbars decided to go nowhere and since i was on a tight timeschedule, we tried the notch methode, did one notch and it turned out to be perfect, so very happy with that.

Gonna do some more work on monday and shoot some more pics... its now coming to a end, and only cage needs attention, seat fitting and the harnesses, some small tidying up work and then shes ready to hit the dyno in 2 weeks.

More pics soon...

have a good weekend

Workshop is great!, they have 4 of these spots, and a nice Dynoroom, place is only 2 years old, build new
VVT are the kings of dieseltuning here in Holland, the red Audi you see is from a guy from Sweden, they come from all over europe to get their diesel cars tuned/mapped by Van Vugt Tuning.
There are some very very quick diesels around here.. 300+ bhp Ibiza diesels with crazy torque.

As said before im going to DP Engineering to get the car mapped, theyre the VEMS mappingmasters and thats THE PLACE TO BE, to get your boosted Peugeots mapped.

Monday 22 july = Mapping/Dyno day @ DP Engineering.... or blow up engine day Wink

Thx guys, yesterday at the shop it got a lot of attention from customers , theyre not known for a peugeot in the workshop, but they did like it.
The Swedish guys were also impressed..

And yes its good to see the car in/on a different location then the old smelly barn.

Tomorrow hopefully cage fitting time, brakebleeding etc, and then shes almost ready for the 22nd...

Arch rolling at the back looks really tidy by the way, good work. I wish I could run my 306 on the road with no front bumper, naked intercoolers look evil as f*ck

Well.... didnt have a lot of time, drawings are made for the cageplates, fitted one seat in place, welded the harnesmounts in place..so after the 22nd we need to sort out the cage and MOT.

Tried to fit the aux belt, wich didnt fit, and we stumpled across a problem, the steeringrack was leaking like a mofo, one bolt is seriously not straight in and f*cked, i cant be bothered to change the damn whole thing.
Car steers perfectly light without PAS, so i wont be using PAS, this means a smaller auxbelt can be used, this is ordered.

+ When i do want to use the PAS, i have another problem, that the auxbelt touches the cambeltcover bigtime..

new brakeoil and bled the brakes, and everything works the way it should be.

Put the car outside to loose some of the cowshitsmell.. and picking it up again later this afternoon

Well a 106 turbo came up for sale with a lot of DP engineering goodies and mapped by DP, vems, alloy inlet etc etc

So my mate Marvin whos helping me with the 306 S16 Turbo project bought the car, did 422bhp on E85 and is now mapped @ 380 bhp on RON98 fuel.

Im just back from driving the car, and i can tell you one thing.... its faster then anything ive ever been in.....

Absolutely mental blistering quick, car did a 12 sec flat 1/4 mile

I really cant wait now till 22nd to get mine mapped!

Ive got some small videoclips that ill upload this weekend

Its much faster then i expected it to be, crazy!

First time also i used a Satchshift, and that is really an awesome mod, gearchanges are very direct.

For what was done to the car, BE4 gearbox kit, better driveshafts, etc, the car was a bargain.

And nice thing is, both 106 turbos are only using the DP sandwichplate and both going strong for already 3 years!
