So I went to go and change to lowering springs + new drop links today (have the other parts for suspension rebuild but not enough time, drop links were desperate).
Started with this:
....aaaand that's where I finished. I need a massive saw, the drop link bolts are the single worst thing I've ever come across - I got one of them right to the very end of the thread and almost saw daylight, but it was just tricking me - because it didn't want to go any further than that.
Tomorrow I'm going to hunt for a f*ck off saw, saw the bolts off from the new shocks, and ARB link on the car and do the swap. Hopefully I'll have more success this time.

looking good. tip for the drop links, chop them in half, pop the rod off the ball joint, and get some mole grips on them to stop them spinning while you undo the nut. thats if theyre plastic, otherwise, grind em off.

Yeah they are plastic - but the ball was so greased up it just spins in the mole grips, Fozzy suggested a file - but I don't have one! Just going to saw the bolts off with my junior hacksaw

Yeah and turned the compensator all the way to the right then 1.5 turns back again.
Haven't done anything on the turbo yet though

I wound it all the way clockwise til it would no longer go, then turned it back again, so thought that was right, perhaps not?

I'm not at FCS I'm afraid, I've already done the max fuel up, that's definitely worked I can assure you that, just need to do the compensator properly now, then adjust the turbo afterwards
