Mates got a mk2 (W reg) which he has supercharged - not been in it but apparently its running between 200 and 250 brake now its been remapped! His is a 1600 not an 1800! (I assume yours is a 1600 - did they do 1800cc in mk1s?)
I would love to supercharge or even turbo mine but it cost too much for me to warrant doing it Did he fit the supercharger himself?
Yeah mines a 1600. They did do the 1800 in mk1 but they came into production after mine in 94 i think. they then reduced the power of the 1600 to 90bhp rather than the 115bhp i have due to there being o little difference between the two engine sizes. IIRC 1800 was about 134bhp.
1600's are much more fun to drive apparently. i have yet to drive an 1800.
Alex - Once the cabby has gone to scrap heaven sell the 106 and get one. It makes sense........
Yeah fitted it himself and he's less mechanically minded than even me! haha
Only pic I can find...

I dont think theyer too bad a price and they look lush. Moss Europe sell them and ive seen one bolted to an engine in their warehouse

Hmmmmm, money i don't have right now and insurance will probably kill me. hence why im wasting money on the little things.
Ive seen the TR Lane supercharger kits:
http://www.trlanefabs.co.uk/SUPERCHARGER-PARTS.html
If i can get one all sorted for under a Grand i think i would be onto a winner. As fitting it will be no problem, maybe the ECU electrical side will cause me problems

Fuels to expensive to use the petrol on the motorway, i save it for the fun roads round my way, and take the Diseasal for the long trips, well apart from the one time with Curts camping.
I think ive only bought petrol for the MX5 twice since ive owned it the rest of the time ive been draining the tanks of the breakers to fill it up. Mouth full of petrol from the Rallye wasn't nice Throwing a tantrum as im not using it no doubt.

Started to tidy up the engine bay, with the help of my other half, been teaching her how to spray, she's done a good job for a first go. She has even painted the red lettering although still needs a couple of coats.

She has done a good job, but i think its mainly down to the person who taught her..........
She is very useful, she even says once i put this one on she will do the other one, as she wants to do it all by herself.

Thanks people, im really loving the wheels, and it needs some lows but also need some arch rolling as they stick out about an extra 50mm than standard.
Connor - yeah she likes to get in the photos, i wont complain though as she does help a lot.
