That one which is £50 is there new range, they used to do them in SS for £100.. Tbh that's the cheapest i've seen a straight fit decat pipe for a HDi though

Longlife did mine in stainless, with a lifetime guarantee, for £80 IIRC. And I sold my pattern (read:worthless) cat for a tenner too.

That one for £50 looks horrible.
Even the expensive one looks a bit crap. How hard is it to just make a pattern of bends, mark up your pipe, and then make a whole batch with a mandrel bender in a decent bore size? My 2p, find a GTi6/2.0i/1.8 16v downpipe and use that... they have the same flange to mate up with the turbo, and they are large bore and super smooth! Dave

Heh Dave speaks truth, if i had my own welder i'd be doing this already, someone's got to want that there gap in the market..?

A decent mild steel de-cat section that is super smooth and large bore would help with things, especially on a higher powered stage 2 or stage 3 tuning set up!
