I put a new battery in, now it wont start the car, it will lock and unlock though. It is a phase 3 fob (r/f).
i suspect when you changed the battery the small IMMO chip pushed into the plastic case has fallen out
the immo chip is the bit that unlocks the ecu for the car to start
the board with the battery is just for the central locking
