You said it had no oil pressure which is also possible that it could be the oil pump chain having snapped of the pump its self having shit its self as they are directly behind that hole too!
it looks neerly new BUT there is alot of stringy bits from a past belt in the casings, so maybe the belt was changed but nothing else.
also i just realise, we havent got a boost compensator feed not anywhere to run a gauge (once he buys one)
might have to send one of the ally pipe in for welding
