Motherboard - A decent Sandybridge one will set you back £100

Graphics Card - Does the bulk of the work for modern games. The more you spend the longer it will last. £140 gets a decent GTX card.
HDD - Although you have storage, you will ideally want an SSD for your OS, but this is optional. £80 gets you 120GB.
Case & Cooling - Whatever you like really. A decent cpu cooler will set you back £20.
I recently built a gaming rig, in total it came to roughly £700. That includes 2 monitors and fan controllers etc though..
Forgot to mention I'm happy to build it myself too, so no need to worry about adding cost for that. I'd say £700 sounds pretty reasonable really.
