The guy in the garage said a dodgy shock could be casing a the wheel to bounce when driving causing the wear.. I can't feel anything like this when driving though!
I'm just bracing my self for this job at the moment, to get the car through the MOT I have changed: front discs, track rods & ends, new front tyre, new rear pads and discs and a new caliper (leaking) and steel brake pipe... So as you can imagine I've had enough of it at the moment.
Not too sure what I want to do with the car long term to be honest, I think I'll leave it 12 months and see what the MOT brings up next year! Maybe new car time. It gets used as a daily by the Mrs at the mo and is doing Bristol to just past Bath every day which is around 50 miles and has torn it a new arse hole!
