URGENT: Throttle Cable

petrol wont go anywhere at idle like a diesel can

Why does this make me think you have had this happen and you, an you have crawled home in 2nd gear on idle?

2nd?! 4th with fuel screw in for 3.5krpm idle! drove from st austell to my house, 15 min drive, using the key as a throttle, get on.

Could do the same in a perv I guess by tieing the body wide open and using the key You cant tell im a farmer can you I once mtdi'ed a rover 200, and we couldnt be arsed to get a cable, so had a bit of baler twine across the engine bay, worked for 2k miles before it was sold...and yes, sold WITH the baler twine to a local farmer
