Get a photo up of your engine bay

Guessing your intercooler pipes go right where the airbox used to be so it never got fitted back on.

Would be looking to rectify that pretty sharpish

MAF is connected just after the box

photo for reference that intercooler pipe work will work with the standard airbox (stolen from google)
