My job for today is fixing the rev counter so I'll let you all know how that goes. I'm hoping its the sensor not being in far enough or a fuse or something simple as I really don't want to have to work out how to fully rewire it.
One of my other niggles with the car is the Tim 2 bar boost gauge. They are alright gauges but the fact that it's only a 180* sweep and a third of that is taken up by vacuum means that not alot of the circumference is used. Also the needle actually rests at -0.25 when the engine isn't even running so is probably giving an inaccurate reading at peak.
I've bought an R-Spec boost gauge with a 270* sweep and no vacuum meaning that the gauge should be far easier to read accurately and not have so much wasted space.
