watch out for the auto hubs if they are the vac operated ones on the front, simple fix for about £30 to put some manual ones on for added economy..
2002-2005 have a 1600kg towing capacity, and a kerb weight of 1527kg.
the XL7 which is slightly larger but strangely lighter is weighted at 1450kg kerb weight and can tow 1850kg..
For something larger but older, look for a Ssanyong Musso.. they run on Merc Gwagon running gear with the OM diesel engine so absolutely bomb proof. Gear linkages are an issue but *i think* you can upgrade these from another vehicle (dont quote me)
