I have had 4 of them over the years,i have had various probs with reliability,blowing car fuse and 12v plug melting - I was thinking maybe a 240v compressor ?
I've had a few and they all packed in. I've got one called ring it can stand on its side and lie down flat. It's lasted me now 8 years and still works fine. I use it a lot for different wheels on cars also bikes as well.
I've got the analog one there about £12 and work great. There also a digital one for about £22

Those cheap black ones for 4.99 and 9.99 are just crap they all look the same and don't last. You see them in petrol stations and supermarkets there crap.
I've got one out of a Mini, switch died so I hard wired it but that's lasting well, had it a few years
