Someone said, neither a borrower or lender be, that's about money I know, but its good to have to hand stuff rather than the hassle of finding and loaning etc..
I only loan stuff to 2 person as I trust them, one my bro and the other a school chum of the lads I have known for 16 years. We loan stuff to each other, they scratch my back etc., and that trust works well.
The purchase of this crane would help us 3, I have his cam and bike chain press at the moment, due to be finished with by next week and returned via uni.
He has arranged for me to attend the uni electronics club for a particular project I have been playing with for some time, so can demonstrate some focus.
His group has a project/competition which I can listen in to, and may be kick in the right direction, as some of the group are knob heads, clever qualified knob heads, but knob heads all the same.
One member did'nt understand that drive chain sprockets have to be "in line", and he worked for a large car manufacturer up north east!!
Anyway, my mate is a rising start and is gunna have letters after his name, keep going dude, its in you ! He loves uni.
