If you were going to go down that route, you'd no doubt get much better results from someone with a proven record who specialises in K-series headwork rather than a generic place that has a well-polished sales patter.
From what I've heard Dave Andrews (of DVAPower fame) is one of the better K-series specialists out there, although I've no experience, direct or indirect.
That said, I'd strongly consider whether the head is your current limiting factor power wise and whether that outlay would be better spent elsewhere. What little I know of the K-Series is that the VVC head isn't bad in standard form, and that being the case it's never going to be good VFM getting it ported - particularly when you're not even getting the most from the existing head with the current inlet, exhaust and cams.
