The more you say it won't do it the lighter my bank account becomes with me trying to prove you wrong 
Besides I like the K series, it's easy enough for me to work on despite my lack of mechanical skill
Dont know much about the l series but i think they have MAF issues so perhaps if he gets it mapped out or replaced it'll be a more even battle
