Acquired this retro bus from a favour or two. Thought it might have a one way ticket but it appears to be fairly solid from a quick look.
It's a 1991 Peugeot 309 GRD, complete with electric windows, central locking, working rev counter, 78k (I think) miles and the driest XUD9 I've seen for a while. It runs very well with 60hp.
Had a bit of a stripping session with the front end as unfortunately it has a bit of front end damage but I pretty hopeful I've pulled it out good enough to have it half tidy. Also jacked it up and it requires a drivers side wheel bearing (brand new one in the boot) and a passengers side TRE. Ideally a wing too, but I'll pull this one straighter for now.
I'm thinking of continuing to tidy it up and dropping my XUD9 VNT engine in out the 206 for the hell of it, especially as I've now sourced and purchased the front panels to get the front end looking OEM again. Big thanks to Sam Barker and Trent so far.
