It's not that mate, it's bloody hard to buy a £2200 car outright when your paying rent, council tax, TV, interwebz, phone, gas and electric, food, pets, insurance, not to mention a missus dipping in and out of your bank account every 2 minutes, petrol is the least of my worries!

On a serious note though, the Skoda gets 25mpg sat in stationary traffic and 42-44mpg on a run, it's cheap for a quick car really when you take into account the higher price of diesel
I'm probably getting rid in September for a HDI and an MX-5 though...
Haha, yeah I know mate, that's why I might aswell buy cars while I've still got the chance!
And yeah its not bad I guess......but when I can get over 180bhp and 60mpg I think I know which is better for a poor student Haha!
