Should be boosting very slightly earlier and smoother now though, wouldn't even think its noticeable though.
Was it noisy/whistly before? If that's gone, could be why it feels slower. The feel of speed has a lot to do with noise...whacking a cone filter or noisy exhaust on always makes a car feel faster for that reason.
Yeah I took the elbow off, gave it the OCD treatment, put on 2 gaskets and gasket sealent, over the top I know but still. Yeah the turbo was loud and whistly, now you can just about hear it.
