Have you got a copy of the dyno printout from the Emerald mapping James?
I've had a few cars that I've done work on or friends cars mapped at Emerald so it'll be interesting to see how this compares given that it's on the same rollers and thus, broadly comparable (usual RR direct comparison issue aside!). In particular, one of those is a 2.1 GTi-6 on Catcam 109's that I mentioned a few pages, so would be interesting to see how yours compares across the rev range as the peak figures don't sound too different from memory.
What made you go down the Emerald route rather than DTA, Omex etc out of interest? Were they simply offering the better "deal" with it being through a magazine and all that? After all, it's hardly like Norfolk is local to you for mapping and DTA is a local firm for you.
I know that some mappers aren't too keen on Emerald but I've always found it quite easy to use and configure, and certainly never had any issues with the couple that I've owned (older M3DK and K3, rather than the current generation). Not mapped one from scratch, but have made a few looms, adapted base maps to get car drivable and sorted out cold start and idling issues for people so am pretty familiar with it.
