Lower brace should be fine mate. You know the height of mine and its splitter scraping...but I dont wack the brace all that often. And thats with soft front end setup!

Always wanted to do this mind...LOTS of BIG gaps!!! If you get another subframe...let me know!!!!

I actually do have another subframe haha, you can have it if you want, or I can get it seam welded for you

Definitely some rigidity to be gained though they're pretty much just pressed together
