As for the stat, did you use the rubber seal that comes with it? I've had to re-use the rubber seal in both HDis as the stat didn't fit with the new seals supplied!
Seems like you got quite bit done tbh though, its just that you have a few things almost finished (HP pipes for example) that make it seem like not much was completed... Good luck for tomorrow!
