Me too, in fairness it seems the least damaging form of HGF so long as I keep on topping up/dont run engine without coolant

Yea and it was done 6 months before I bought it. It's going to need replacing, luckily it seems an easy enough job on these engines. Good thing I'll have 3 weeks spare after exams finish with nothing to do
It also outlived alot of xuds, one of the neighbours got chatting with me yesterday when I asked where his 306 was he said the head had gone
