No need to remove it, there is enough room. I use a 1/4 drive ratchet. The nuts are 10mm. Theres some wiring and a water pipe that may be in the way, but usually can just work round them.

Dont forget to disconnect the fogs if you have them, i always used to.

Nice one thanks, so is it easier to go in from the wheel arch or underneath on the drivers side?
