OZ have been around making wheels longer than I've been alive, so no I don't think like that. That is also not my point, which I think you know.
People will buy these wheels and people will love them, will they stand the test of time? No. But if they're happy then they're happy so be it. I just hope I'm not the one driving past them when it flies of their car...
In your opinion they won't stand the test of time, that's my point. I mean lets be fair, how many times have you heard of wheels shattering in normal use? I'm sure OZ started out selling wheels cheap because they needed to make a name before charging big money for a set of wheels.
I think I am missing your point to be fair, it seems to be that a BS mark doesn't make them safe, and that they need years of proven safety to be considered safe. Personally if they are made to the minimum standard (if there is one) I'd consider them safe until proven otherwise.
