but as said, easy to buy by the meter and solder terminals on (solder like plumbing solder + blowtourch, not tiny little circuit soldering iron stuff) - welding wire is normally pretty good and flexible.
or set of bmw cables has got to be good.
also no one has mentioned putting a fuse in!
I've got a big 300amp fuse between the positive battery terminal and everything else, just incase it decides to short itself on its route to the engine bay.
