. JDM parts aren't the same as normal parts, they're specifically made for Japan and people do pay over the odds for the stuff, but it doesn't just mean Japanese. Lastly, the likelihood of having to replace one would probably be significantly lower. The problems with XU10s arise with neglect and late belt changes, hence they become a rather large consumable.
