My old '6 was hit by someone and although it was all repaired I didn't notice a radiator leak.
It dumped all the coolant and overheated, so I replaced the radiator and it all seemed fine for several months but the damage was done and over those several months the symptoms of a blown HG started to creep up.
To this day it does still run, but it is an arse to start as coolant gets in the cylinders and it'll only get worse if run longer.
Just a warning to say you should be extra vigilant and check that the overheating hasn't warped the head slightly.

This post is an artistic work of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted above as fact.
