I've seen a manual box turned into a sequential box, but involves electronics, solenoids etc.
Basically a control box to move in a H pattern, but with only up and down shifts, looks a bit complex.
Either that, or finding a DSG Gearbox and adapting it to fit on a 306... but that would be paddles on the steering wheel rather than a stick shifter.
But I imagine that DSG Boxes carry a hefty price tag.
