Totally, you forget what a special car you buy these days for £800... There'll be a time they're NOT £800 for an OK one...
Enjoy it whilst it lasts - I have considered getting another just to keep and store, because we all know they will be as much of an unsung hero just like the Corrado VR6, 190E Cosworth, Manta GTE that are all worth a FORTUNE these days... It's just that Top Gear haven't yet said that the 306 GTi6 is a future classic...
I still find it amazing that Peugeot could sell you a naturally aspirated 2l hatchback with near as dammit 170bhp and 6 speed gearbox wrapped up in a pretty hatch almost 20 years ago.
167bhp is still pretty impressive these days for a standard car
