that's probably the first time I've heard good comments on EBC pads, generally people seem to have massive downer on them, a few years ago quality was very suspect, I've personally had Greenstuff pads disintegrate, simply cracked and crumbled to bits, although to be fair to EBC the car in question was alot more powerful than the 200bhp they suggest Greens are suitable for, anyway I'd pretty much given up on them preferring Mintex 1144/1155s which while considerably more expensive they are a deffinite step up in quality, when I built my Xsara VTS road rally car the plan was to use Mintex again but when I was offered a full set of new EBC Yellowstuff pads at a price I couldn't refuse I decided to give EBC another chance (I managed to get F&R EBC Yellow pads, new rear discs, Goodridge hoses and Motul RBF 600 fluid for under £100) and I have to say I've been pleasantly surprised, apart from the plastic that attaches the wear indicators melting they've soaked uo all the punishment I been able to give them with no problem. Good cold performance and no fade at high temps no squealing and they seem to be easy on the discs, whether EBC have improved the Greens from when I used them previously I couldn't say but if the Yellows are anything to go by then you should be OK,
