That's what size it is from turbo back, whereas standard exhaust is all crush bent and this is mandrel bends.
Car doesnt suffer from needing a bigger exhaust if im honest as it spools quickly and is very free revving as it stands.
Chances are HDi cars now arent on their original exhausts and can bet they won't even be 2.25 in most places.
