I had the Lucas pump and K14 turbo running at 23psi and it was great fun to drive. Had to progressively apply the throttle when pulling away so it didn't belch out black smoke but you get used to it really quickly. Was worth it for the extra fuelling on boost and common sense really when you think about how it all works. It's not a computer controlled petrol engine.
I think in the end the max fuelling was turned about 180 degrees clockwise and the boost compensator was turned all the way in then turned back either a half or 3/4 of a turn. Turned in fully made it much cleaner off boost but more laggy and erratic with the fuelling. Easier just to control it with the throttle.
The only modification I had was a 2.25" turbo back exhaust.
